We had a fieldwork in London today. First, our group visited the National Maritime Museum. We saw some model ships and learned about maritime history . The scale of the museum was very large. Next, we visited the Greenwich Observatory. We stood on the Meridian Line. The rain just stopped and we saw a rainbow. It was so beautiful. We also visited Big Ben, the House of Parliament, and Westminster Abbey. It was difficult to take the underground. We had various kinds of experience in London. At the end of the day, we visited the International Maritime Organization. I was very interested in it because I’d like to work there in the future. So I was very happy. IMO is the institution to make rules about maritime affairs. Mr. Yamada told us IMO is the smallest UN organization but it is very active and efficient. I’d like to put these valuable experiences to good use in the future.
